But I don't think I can help it...
And that pulls me in two...
What can I do?
How should i feel?
The past catches up...

I think this could be real...

Lasting moment's
Time told this tale
Dreaming of what was...
Yearning for what's yet to be
Intrigued by lasting moment's
Spent in a lover's arms...
The breath of assurance..
Treads so gently in and out

When Was It All Lost ( Part 1 )
I've seen the rainbows after the storms.
But the storms come one too many.
They form and They receed.
Leaving emptiness.
A promise, true only with belief.
Can be undone with time.
Chances given and taken.
Always trying to find peace.
What could be clear and unconditional.
Becomes.. Ones hope to be again.
Keeping the tears dried from my eye.
The pain is there, so easy to see.

When Was It All Lost ( Part 2 )
Passed upon each day.
Never seeing what has torn me up inside.
Emptiness.. Enduring the pain.
Dreams are hopeless.
What's done is done.
How do I keep these tears from falling?
The story began, but now to find its end.
Pulling away now.....
Truely gets easier with each passing day.

I see you every night in my dreams
I hear your heart beating with mine
With every breath, a new feeling
a new reality unfolds
Taking hold of all before me
Love shown, love felt, love.. to hold onto
for a lifetime
Never losing us...

Endless
Streamline days cast into the night's essence
The abruptness remains from the day before
Cascading into a halo effect of once been
From ocean views to land all around
From east coast to midwest and beyond
Ocean to ocean at some points show
North to south the usual flow
Yet a brief retreat was found amongst the chaos
From snow to rain to winds of excess
Days too hot and others beyond cold
From skyscraper and busy streets
To cornfields and endless deserted roads
A system of mazes all around and never an end to it all
Always another day, another state and town
And the cycle begins again
Violets and roses can bloom
The ice can cover lakes and streams and traffic-filled roads
But the trucks can't stop their endless run

Inside Of Love
Settling dream engaged in his eyes,
A treasured moment held so deep in his soul..
Capturing the time and place when their eyes first locked....
When their hearts were in full bloom
Remembing all of the joy and anticipation felt,
Of the past days, and finding they are still deep with in..
Love the center of being, existing, knowing...
Cast so deeply, so unbreakable, such a gift, given so fully...
Only felt with his arm, his heart..
Such passion, just as the waves crash against the ocean wall..
Just as the ocean will always meet the sand..
As with his love for her, will always remain.
Will always be true and in full bloom.

Much Of It All
wind blows
thoughts in the air
higher and higher
tainted dreams
memories unravel
seeking rest
seeking heart
seeking end to it all
final rest takes its course
all to emerge
all to feel
what wasnt felt
what wasnt allowed
needing to be free'd
needing closeness
needing love
laughter to be held to be felt
brings all to a close
a new day begins
fresh unscared

In Time
if life could be so intriquing
so inthrolled by existing...
to be trapped in a time
that meaning and understanding
co-exist for an instant that overlap
looping over and over...
the very moment that all knowledge
finds meaning to all that is so rewarding...
when all being finds solice
all existing finds peace...

We follow a dream
Through out our lives
Believing in all
When the dream survives
There are days
It seems nothing goes right
And you wonder
If it's worth the fight
As strange
As it may sound
In the heart
Of a friend it was found
The belief
We need
To know
We can succeed.

Reality
this plastic world is caving in on me.
do we all trade our souls for practicality?
for comfortable, stifling masks?
with every gasp, i pull myself further out
of the drowning waters of deceptive
busyness...
only to find that there may be no more
freedom on the other side.
we've been running on full speed,
no questions asked,
for so long
for so long
to ask,
to see
may be more frightening than i had ever
imagined.
i would trade all of my pretense
for one moment
of Reality.
